FAQ
Will a casual phone video work?
Yes. Any phone, any orientation. Angles are most accurate shot straight up or down the fall line; off-axis values read systematically low, but same-camera comparisons stay valid.
Can you measure edge angle or foot pressure?
Not from video — and we won't pretend to. Those belong to the sensor kit (IMU plus pressure insoles), currently in data collection with elite riders.
Does the AI score my riding?
No mystery scores. Only physical quantities and deviations from reference curves — numbers a coach can explain and you can act on next run.
Is comparing with masters fair at different speeds?
Turns are normalized to 0–100% phase first, so shape, rhythm and timing compare across speeds. Absolute angles depend on camera placement, and reports say so.
How do coaches participate?
Students upload video, the system produces a data page, and CASI coaches review remotely with concrete cues. For coach or club partnerships, reach out.
